Jerry Johnson

There were a flurry of small all-ins but even with Chris Larrea and Jerry Johnson scoring small double ups, Brian Hastings continued to hold a sizable chip lead. Eventually, Jerry Johnson got down to his final 1,500,000 chips and after mis-clicking the button, trying to raise but verbalizing a number lower than the big blind, he was force to call.

Chris Larrea was in the small blind and he then shoved for close to 2,000,000 and after Hastings got out of the way, Johnson called all-in. It was a flip, as he held AQ to Larrea’s 44♣.

The K♠5♣5 flop gave Johnson some chop outs but after the 8♠ and 3♣ completed the board, Johnson was eliminated in 3rd place. He’d make just under $11,100 for his podium finish and we are now heads up for the SugarRush Challenge title.
