Wen Zhang

After the elimination of Tim Oleske, Wen Zhang finally hit the rail from Table 2. Zhang had an up and down Day 2 session, starting the day with 35,000 before running up to a chip leading stack after the bubble.

Zhang was then still the chip leader when this field redrew with 18 left but after his big loss to Jerry Johnson, he was left crippled.

Geno Raman

Eventually, he was eliminated by Alyson Parker, after they got the chips in on a 876♣ flop. Parker held QQ♠ and Zhang turned over 10♣7♠. He had a pair and a gut shot straight draw but he couldn’t connect on the turn and river to hit the rail in 12th place.

A few hands later, Parker was scoring another knockout, as her JJ♠ won a flip against a short stacked Geno Raman. Raman held A♣K♣ but after the Q♠10♣6Q5♣ run out, he exited in 11th place.

Both players will make $1,600 for their near final table runs and that ten-handed final table is now set, with a complete list of those players and counts coming shortly.
