PPC Main Event (Day 2): Michael Hager Doubles Into The Chip Lead

Level 25 (25,000/50,000/5,000)
Total Entrants: 511

Players Remaining: 9
Average Stack: 2,030,000

Michael Hager is back out in front after flopping a set and getting maximum value from Paul Tong.

Paul Tong owned the final table for the early part of Level 25 but Michael Hager is now out in front thanks to a cooler flop that puts him in pole position.

Tong opened for a standard raise from the cutoff and Hager called on the button. Michael Gagliano came along from the big blind and the flop came down A10♠8. Gagliano checked and Tong continued for 225,000. Hager raised to 600,000 and Gagliano folded before Tong moved all-in. Hager called for about 1,900,000 more and turned over 88♠, which was out in front of the A8♣ of Tong. The 10♣ hit the turn and the J completed the board to secure the double for Hager.

Hager is now up to 4,375,000 and Tong dips down to 2,500,000.
