Level 14 (2,000/4,000/500)
Total Entrants: 497
Players Remaining: 106
Average Stack: 134,000
The mark for being “among the chip leaders” was 300,000 coming into Day 2 but lurking just outside of the lead pack are two dangerous players who have seen their fair share of Championship Sundays.
Greg Fishberg snuck in and bagged 220,000 on Day 1B before Winter Storm Stella engulfed the Northeast. You would be hard pressed to find a main event in the relative area that Fishberg hasn’t made a mark in and today marks a chance for him to scratch a SugarHouse Main Event cash off his checklist.
Michael Dobbs seems to always be in the thick of things and came into today with a healthy stack of 238,500. Like Fishberg, Dobbs has been around the scene for many years and is in a great spot to pick up his fifth five-figure score in the last 12 months and his first cash at SugarHouse.
