PPC Main Event (Day 2): Play Slows, Updated Counts

Level 23 (15,000/30,000/5,000)
Total Entrants: 511

Players Remaining: 15
Average Stack: 1,220,000

Amnon Eisner has been the largest beneficiary of the last level and is right behind Peter Miranda for the current chip lead.

Level 23 has been slow, to say the least, as little to no pots of major substance have broken out. Most pots have been decided preflop and the few all-ins have gone uncontested. In the midst of this lull, Peter Miranda and Amnon Eisner have moved into the two top spots on the leaderboard. Both players are right under 2,000,000, at the moment, but have each taken their turn at being over that mark.

The blinds are soon to go up, and when they do, the average stack will be under 40 big blinds for the first time all tournament, which should drastically increase the action for the shorter stacks. An updated look at the chip counts is below.

  1. Peter Miranda – 1,900,000
  2. Sean Byars – 360,000
  3. Amnon Eisner – 1,850,000
