PPC Main Event (Day 1G): Familiarity Breeds Contempt

Level 7 (400/800/100)
Total Entrants: 435
Day 1G Entrants: 170

Friends off the felt are sometimes the biggest rivals on it and two players well familiar with one another are exemplifying that in Level 7.

His reputation often precedes him before he sits down and Thai Ha uses every ounce of the aggressive image he’s built over the years to his advantage. Ha is never shy about mixing it up and his style has worked out to the tune of $514,000 in career earnings. You don’t often see Ha cash outside of the final table and he hopes to once again run deep in a main event structure.

Seated two to the left of Ha is friend off the felt and competitor on it, Daniel Bak. The start of the PPC was fortuitous for Bak as he reached the final table of the SugarRush Challenge before bowing out in sixth place thanks to a brutal beat. Bak has championship experience via his Big Stax 500 win in August 2015 and is ready to put the demons of earlier this month behind him.
