PPC Main Event (Day 1F): Two From The “Second Wave”

Level 10 (800/1,600/200)
Total Entrants: 265
Total Day 1F Entrants: 53

The chip leaders are well established at this point but there are few players trending below them among the second wave who are looking to make their move before the end of the night.

Andrew Mullen is quietly chipping up and is nearing the 75,000 mark. Mullen made his mark at SugarHouse in September of last year, when he finished second to Kevin Grabel in the third running of the SugarRush Challenge. Mullen is as battle-tested as they come and very capable of putting together another deep run.

Jerry Johnson likes to say he prefers to be the chip leader at the end of the tournament rather than the beginning and true to form, Johnson is trending below the radar at 50,000. Johnson has two SugarRush podium finishes under his belt and knows now to navigate a two-day tournament as well as anyone.
