Winter Storm Stella has engulfed the Northeast in snow but despite the inclement weather, the third flight of the Philadelphia Poker Classic Main Event is soon to get started. Through the first two main event flights, 84 entrants have populated the field with more to come today. In total, 19 players are through to Sunday’s Day 2.
All players who enter today will start their main event journey with 30,000 chips and 12 45-minute levels standing between them and a spot in Day 2. Late registration and re-entry are available for the entirety of all Day 1 flights with Day 2 entry available for $2,100 in exchange for 120,000 chips (40 big blinds). A full structure sheet can be found here.
Given the current weather conditions, we aren’t entirely sure how many players to expect for today but regardless of how many enter, the SugarHouse Blog will be here to provide coverage for all of today’s Day 1C.
