There is a ton to be excited about for the Philadelphia Poker Classic but no event is more highly anticipated than the PPC Main Event. The first of seven starting flights is ready to get started with players taking their seats for the start of play.
The $200,000 guaranteed event offers a $500 buy-in on Day 1 in exchange for 30,000 chips. All Day 1 flights will play 12 45-minute levels with re-entry and late registration open for all 12 levels. Similar to the popular SugarRush structure, players have the option available to buy-in on Day 2. At the price of $2,100, all Day 2 entries will receive 120,000 chips with registration open until the start of Level 16. A full structure sheet can be found here.
Players who advance from their respective Day 1 sessions will advance to Sunday’s Day 2, where they will play down to a champion. Satellites are running throughout the week at the price point of $125, giving players plenty of opportunities to qualify at a discounted rate.
The SugarHouse blog will be providing coverage of Day 1 flights starting Friday before picking up complete coverage on Day 2.
