Pocket aces are a blunt instrument and Daniel Bak used them to double up through Schuyler Twaddle.

Daniel Bak knocked out Chris Behney but was still near the bottom of the counts at the final table. After doubling up through Schuyler Twaddle, though, Bak is now above the chip average and at his peak for the SugarRush Challenge.

Twaddle opened for 225,000 from under the gun and Bak called out of the big blind to see a 88♣5 flop. Bak checked and Twaddle put him all-in for the 1,325,000 he had behind. Bak called and turned over AA♠ but needed to dodge trouble against the A4 of Twaddle.

The 10♠ turn and 3 river were safe for Bak and he chips up to 3,025,000. With the hit, Twaddle drops down to 3,050,000, putting him right in the middle of the pack.
