Michael Marder fought long and hard to regain his chip position after being knocked down earlier in the night. Marder folded up a few pay spots but couldn’t fade one last all-in and is now on the rail.
Marder opened for a standard raise from the button and Schuyler Twaddle three-bet jammed out of the big blind to put Marder at risk. Marder called for his last 1,515,000 with Q♣Q♠ and was in a great position to double up through Twaddle’s A♥Q♦.
Unfortunately for Marder, the A♦8♦5♥ flop left him needing a stone one-outer to stay alive. It didn’t come on the J♠ turn or 5♣ river and Marder’s great SugarRush run is officially at an end.
With the knockout, Twaddle is up to 7,750,000 and in control of over 35 percent of the chips in play as the blinds are ready to go up yet again.
