Level 14 (2,000/4,000/500)
Total SugarRush Challenge Entries: 576
Players Remaining: 106
Chip Average: 136,000
Tables have been breaking left and right so far on Day 2 of the SugarRush Challenge. As a result of players hitting the rail, some larger chip stacks have emerged as the registration period nears a close.
Zhenjie Hou had his starting table break in Level 13 and found good fortune early one at his new home. Hou was on the right side of a set-over-set confrontation and finds himself playing near 250,000. Hou final tabled the first SugarRush in April 2016 and is intent on improving his eighth place finish.
We have yet to take a full inventory of the chip leaderboard at this stage of Day 2 but Scott Care would likely be among those at the top. Care is playing just above 300,000, a near double from the 162,500 he began Day 2 with. A cash today would mark Care’s first in a SugarRush and he is well on his way to unlocking that achievement.
