Ed Py is back in the chip lead after two hands that saw the chip leaderboard tumbled on its head.

Two of the biggest pots of the tournament just occurred at the start of the new level with Ed Py being the primary beneficiary and Sridhar Sangannagari falling to the bottom of the chip counts.

The first hand of the insanity started with a John Attanasio double up through Sangannagari. Sangannagari opened for 175,000 from the button and Attanasio defended to see a Q53♠ flop. Attanasio checked and Sangannagari fired out 225,000. Attanasio put in a check-raise and Sangannagari responded by moving all-in with Attanasio snap-calling for his last 2,045,000. Attanasio flipped over 3

Attanasio flipped over 33 and had Sangannagari drawing nearly dead with Q♣2♣. The turn was the 2 but the river a blank to ship Attanasio the pot leaving Sangannagari with only 400,000.

No sooner did Attanasio double up, did he ship a double over to Py. Attanasio raised to 175,000 and  Py three-bet to 780,000. Undeterred by the raise, Attanasio put Py all-in 2,560,000, which Py called. Attanasio held AQ♠ but trailed the Q♣Q of Py. The board ran clean and Py is now up to 5,200,000 and the chip leader once again.
