Level 14 (2,000/4,000/500)
Total SugarRush Challenge Entries: 514
Players Remaining: 91
Chip Average: 141,000
Over one full level is in the books for Day 2 of the SugarRush and we’ve seen a few players spin up their Day 1 chip stacks. All of these players are over the 200,000 mark and fully in contention to make a run.
Geno Raman started Day 2 with 109,000 and is now playing double that amount. Raman ran deep in the first SugarRush, finishing 11th in what was a stacked final two tables. Raman’s Steelers have a sweat on their hands later this afternoon but for now, Raman is focused on his making it to his third final table of 2016.
Rosendo Guerrero has the unenviable task on his hand of sitting at the same table as Tony Cheng and Kevin Grabel but that hasn’t stopped Guerrero from chipping up to 300,000. Guerrero made a Parx Big Stax 500 final table in February of this year and is looking for his version of the “Philadelphia Double.”
Meir Tayar started Day 2 with 180,000 and is now playing double that total as he near the top of the chip counts. Tayar cashed in June’s SugarRush and is in a position to match and likely exceed his previous trip to the payout cage.
