SugarRush (Day 2): Late Buy-Ins Paying Early Dividends

Level 13 (1,500/3,000/500)
Total SugarRush Challenge Entries: 514
Players Remaining: 96
Chip Average: 115,000

As noted on numerous occasions, the structure of the SugarRush allows for players to buy-in on Day 2 for four times the initial fee and in return receive four times the original starting stack of those who bought in on Day 1. It always makes for an interesting dynamic as we usually see at least one or two Day 2 entrants make their way to the final table. Already today, two of these players are hovering around 200,000 following their belated start.

It is truly no rest for the weary for Ryan McKnight as the Pennsylvanian goes for his second deep run this week. McKnight already finished 11th in the Borgata Fall Poker Open Event 1 out of a field of over 1,600. That run earned McKnight $9,200 marking his most profitable trip to the payout cage of 2016.

Like McKnight, Dhaval Joshi is in search of another strong finish in what has been a solid 2016. Joshi has already made seven final tables this year and is looking for the win that has eluded him thus far. Joshi is nearing the $100,000 mark in career earnings and a win here today would push him far over that total.
