Tony Cheng (Philadelphia, PA)

With the elimination of Russ DiRico, the field in the SugarRush Challenge was knocked down to 18 players with dinner break on the horizon. Shortly after the redraw, Tony Cheng was the first player to hit the rail.

In a bit of bad luck, Cheng lost most of his chips to Schuyler Twaddle in a preflop confrontation. Twaddle got his last 500,000 in with AQ♣ and would need to hit against the QQ of Cheng. Sure enough, an ace hit the flop and Cheng was crippled. A few hands later, Cheng was eliminated and will earn $1,296 for his finish.

Play will resume at approximately 8:40 pm as we play down to another SugarRush champion. A full list of the two table redraw and updated chip counts will be posted once play resumes.

Below is the listing of finishers places 19-27.

21. Matt Zambanini
