SugarRush (Day 2): 8th Place – Roger Dickerman ($3,739)

Level 26 (30,000/60,000/10,000)
Total SugarRush Challenge Entries: 634
Players Remaining: 7
Chip Average: 2,520,000

Roger Dickerman (West Chester, PA)

Another player who was short for the latter part of Day 2 but managed to grind his way to the SugarRush Challenge final table was Roger Dickerman. With only 410,000 to start the final table, Dickerman was heavily endangered but managed to make two pay jumps before meeting his end.

Greg Fishberg raised from early position to 140,000 and Kevin Grabel three-bet to 400,000 from the button. Dickerman called all-in for less from the big blind and Fisherberg conceded his hand. Dickerman was ahead with A7 but Grabel was live with 9♣8♠. The Q♠7♣4♣ flop opened a few backdoor outs for Grabel but the K on the turn left him needing to pair up to eliminated Dickerman.

Fortunately for Grabel, his run good today continued and the 9 appeared on the river to send Dickerman to the rail. Grabel continues to grow his stack and is now over 6,250,000.
