Ben Kritzer grinded through Day 2 of the SugarRush Challenge, picking his spots appropriately and staying out of the way at the most opportune moments. As it has gone for most of today, the last of Kritzer’s chips ended up in the mountain of Kevin Grabel as he slowly starts to close in on victory.
A few minutes into the new level, Kritzer moved all-in for 1,100,000 from under the gun ad found a caller in Grabel from the big blind. Kritzer was live with K♥J♠ but behind the A♠8♠ of Grabel.
The 7♠3♠2♣ flop took away some of Kritzer’s outs as Grabel flopped a flush draw. The A♣ on the turn sealed it for Kritzer as he earns his first tournament cash.
Grabel now has 13,000,000 in chips and is closing in on second SugarHouse title of 2016.
