Charles Bailey sent Malik Saunders to the rail and is nearing the chip lead of Gary Maynard as a result.

Players are just getting settled into their new seating assignments, but fireworks have already erupted as Charles Bailey sent Malik Saunders to the rail in a pot that moved Bailey over 1,500,000.

Bailey opened from under the gun and Saunders flatted from the button to see a A♠K3 flop. Bailey continued for 70,000 and Saunders called. The 5 turned and Bailey moved all-in for effectively 400,000 and Saunders wasted little time calling. Bailey had Saunders drawing dead as he showed AK♣ against the AQ of Saunders.

Once the dust settled, Bailey was up to almost 1,500,000 while Saunders headed to the payout cage.

Players are about to head on their dinner break and play will resume at approximately 8:45 PM.
